NAC Advisory: Brattleboro, VT

It's sometimes harder to ask people NOT to take action than it is to urge them to send a letter. The Town of Brattleboro, Vermont has adopted a temporary anti-nudity ordinance and the town's selectboard is considering making it permanent.

Participation by Brattleboro residents may help, however, attempts at direct intervention by those who are "from away" are unwelcome. NAC board member Virginia Schnee has been working carefully behind the scenes to prepare concerned locals for the upcoming selectboard meeting. The outcome remains in question.
