Reminder to WRITE: Olympic Hot Springs

There's still time to make a difference!

On September 14, the Naturist Action Committee issued a NAC Action Alert, asking concerned naturists to send their comments to the National Park Service. The specific issue is a plan to "rehabilitate" Olympic Hot Springs in Olympic National Park, which is located in the state of Washington. In this instance, according to the 400 page draft of the Management Plan for the Park Service unit, "rehabilitation" means complete removal of the soaking pools at the Springs.

With the help of knowledgeable naturists and naturalists, NAC has developed an alternative and has proposed it to the Park Service. NAC's alternative is sensitive to environmental issues, but it also reflects the legitimate interests of naturists, who are traditional users of the Springs.

To the many of you who have already written to the Park Service, we extend our sincere appreciation! For those who haven't written yet, there's still time. The deadline for comments is September 30, 2006.
