A legislative bill has been introduced in the Wisconsin Assembly seeking to outlaw nudity on all land that is owned, managed, supervised, or controlled by a state agency. This bill targets Mazo Beach specifically.

ASSEMBLY BILL 574

AB 574 was introduced by Rep. Daniel LeMahieu (R-Oostburg). In addition to outlawing nudity on public lands across the state, the bill would establish a state law that "prohibits a person from parking in any lot that is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Natural Resources and that is along Conservatory Drive in the town of Mazomanie."

CONTACT THE ASSEMBLY TOURISM COMMITTEE

Whether or not you are a Wisconsin resident, the Naturist Action Committee asks you to contact each of the 12 members of the Assembly Committee on Tourism. Those living outside Wisconsin can certainly express legitimate concern to a committee that focuses on tourism.
